Product overview
Recombinant Biotinylated Cynomolgus MADCAM1 Protein is expressed in HEK293 cells with a His tag and Avi tag at the C-terminus. It contains amino acid residues Gln22-Gln295 (accession: XP_045235080.2).
Product Details
- Molecular Aliases
- MAdCAM-1; MADCAM1; MACAM1
- Protein Length
- Gln22-Gln295
- Expression System
- HEK293
- Theoretical Molecular Weight
- The protein has a predicted MW of 31.95 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 60-70 kDa based on Bis-Tris PAGE result.
- Purity
- > 95% as determined by Bis-Tris PAGE > 95% as determined by HPLC
- Endotoxin
- Less than 1 EU per μg by the LAL method.
- Buffer / Formulation
- Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
- State
- Lyophilized
- Storage Conditions
- -20 to -80°C for 12 months as supplied from date of receipt. -80°C for 3 months after reconstitution. Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. Please minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
- Reconstitution Advice
- Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. Please refer to the Certificate of Analysis for detailed instructions.

Background
Mucosal addressin cell adhesion molecule–1 (MAdCAM-1) is an endothelial cell marker that is recognized by its ligands on lymphocytes: L-selectin and α4β7 integrin. MAdCAM-1 is highly expressed on intestinal endothelium and has, recently, been shown to play an important role in the development of acute GVHD in animal model.
