Product overview
Recombinant Biotinylated Human DKK1 C terminal Domain Protein is expressed in HEK293 cells with an hFc (IgG1) tag and Avi tag at the C-terminus. It contains amino acid residues Met178-His266 (UniProt accession: O94907).
Product Details
- Molecular Aliases
- Dickkopf-related 1; Dickkopf-1; Dkk-1; Dkk1; hDkk-1; hDkk1; SK
- Protein Length
- Met178-His266
- Expression System
- HEK293
- Theoretical Molecular Weight
- The protein has a predicted MW of 38.69 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 50-55 kDa based on Bis-Tris PAGE result.
- Purity
- > 95% as determined by Bis-Tris PAGE
- Endotoxin
- Less than 1 EU per μg by the LAL method.
- Buffer / Formulation
- Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in 20mM NaAc, 150mM NaCl (pH 5.0). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
- State
- Lyophilized
- Storage Conditions
- -20 to -80°C for 12 months as supplied from date of receipt. -80°C for 3 months after reconstitution. Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. Please minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
- Reconstitution Advice
- Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 20mM NaAc (pH 5.0). Please refer to the Certificate of Analysis for detailed instructions.

Background
Dickkopf-1 (Dkk1), the founding and best-studied member of the Dkk family, functions as an antagonist of canonical Wnt/β-catenin. Dkk1 is considered to play a broad role in a variety of biological processes.
