Product overview
Recombinant Human TNFRSF12A/TWEAKR Protein is expressed in HEK293 cells with an hFc (IgG1) tag at the N-terminus. It contains amino acid residues Glu28-Per80 (UniProt accession: Q9NP84-1).
Product Details
- Molecular Aliases
- FGF-inducible 14; Fgfrp2; TNFRSF12A; FN14; CD266; TWEAKR
- Expression System
- HEK293
- Theoretical Molecular Weight
- The protein has a predicted MW of 32.9 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 38-45 kDa based on Bis-Tris PAGE result.
- Purity
- > 95% as determined by Bis-Tris PAGE > 95% as determined by HPLC
- Endotoxin
- Less than 1 EU per μg by the LAL method.
- Buffer / Formulation
- Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
- State
- Lyophilized
- Storage Conditions
- -20 to -80°C for 12 months as supplied from date of receipt. -80°C for 3 months after reconstitution. Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. Please minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
- Reconstitution Advice
- Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. Please refer to the Certificate of Analysis for detailed instructions.

Background
Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 12a (Tnfrsf12a) is a receptor for tumor necrosis factor superfamily member 12 (Tnfsf12). Tnfrsf12a is highly inducible and plays a key role in the development of cardiac hypertrophy and heart failure.
